Lost your bird?

Don't panic - Stay focused and take these steps now.  Ask for help from friends, family, and neighbors.

Post a photo and description on 911 Parrot Alert and on craigslist.

Post LOTS of fliers in your neighborhood offering a reward for your lost companion. Be sure to include a description, picture, your email and phone number.
 
Call ahead and then fax fliers to all local vets & pet stores in your area.
 
Place an open cage with your bird's favorite treats in a visible area in your yard, balcony or even rooftop. 
 
Go door to door in your neighborhood with fliers and ask for help!
 
Check every day at your local animal care and control facility, animal shelter, or humane society.

Do NOT give your bird's band number to anyone (except 911 Parrot Alert).
